I’ve been taking things apart, building, and creating for almost my entire life — professionally for at least 28 years. Metal work, landscaping, motorcycles, parts, tools, artwork, even software. I’m sure I’m forgetting a few things my wife would correct me on.
But the greatest thing I’ve learned through all of it is that my best creation is nothing compared to His. And to create something, it must first be organized — that organization and knowledge, driven by hope and faith, produces something real. This I can testify of firsthand.
If you’ve followed Nash Motorcycle Company for a while, you know that my oldest son Redge has lived and breathed NMC since he was a baby. He grew up in a playpen in the center of my shop, watching me work and wrench on bikes. He’s traveled to shows across the country, been a central part of manufacturing Nash product, and over the last few years has single-handedly crafted most of our leather goods himself.
Now, as Redge graduates high school, he has selflessly chosen to serve a two-year mission for our church in the southern states — also known as the Bible Belt. So in his honor, and as a nod to his favorite verse, Isaiah 6:8, we’re proud to introduce The Bible Belt. This is the first in the line, and we plan to keep adding to it — let us know which verses you’d like to see next.
As Redge spends the next two years serving and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, let us all be reminded to love our neighbors, serve one another, and be kind. Pick up your Bible Belt and carry that reminder with you every day.
